You may be aware that following extensive campaigning by former miners,
their legal representatives, trade unions and MSPs, the Scottish government has established an independent panel to conduct an inquiry into the policing of the miners’ strike in Scotland.
The panel is seeking evidence from former miners, members of the
community, police officers and anyone who had an involvement or interest
in the strike.
The attached information sheet sets out the terms of inquiry and
provides information on how you can respond.
